Cross-Platform Camera Streaming App for Pipe Cleaning Equipment
Rebuilt a mobile solution that unified SD/HD feeds and halved feature rollout time.

Project Overview
General Pipe Cleaners, a century-old leader in drain-cleaning equipment, relied on a legacy native app to view camera feeds during pipe inspections. The existing solution was two separate codebases (iOS and Android), supported just one camera feed at a time, and made new video-editing features cost-prohibitive. They needed a unified, future-proof mobile platform to support both SD and HD cameras, reduce long-term maintenance, and speed up feature deliveries.
The Challange
Our Solution
We rewrote the mobile application on React Native, consolidating iOS and Android into one codebase. Our modular architecture enabled simultaneous SD/HD camera streams, a collapsible settings panel, and semi-transparent control overlays. We engineered the application for long-term growth, ensuring it can be easily and affordably updated with new features and functionality.
