    Developed a secure application that automates weather-based property assessments and streamlines servicer inspection workflows.

    We partnered with Safeguard Properties Management to build a secure web application that enables users to upload property data files and receive automated weather-based inspection assessments. The tool integrates with Verisk’s mapping services to visualize hazards and supports customizable inspection and reporting workflows.

    The Challange

  • The client required a way to evaluate property risk based on real-time weather data and automate inspection logistics accordingly.
  • The system had to support a range of file types, validate content, and deliver an intuitive user experience for servicers unfamiliar with technical tools.
  • The prototype had to be done using only front-end technology

    • Our Solution

    We began by designing a series of screens that support servicer use cases—from authentication to data visualization. We developed a streamlined workflow that allowed users to upload Excel sheets containing property information, which were then integrated with Verisk’s mapping services. This integration automatically generated interactive maps displaying the properties scheduled for inspection. Each property was represented with intuitive icons that visually indicated the extent and type of property damage, enabling quick and informed assessments.
